Underground LMR Site
Diagnose and repair a single channel repeater installed in an underground facility. Critical communication was not being maintained. Users frequently were unable to communicate using hand held radios in long underground tunnels. Several companies attempted to resolve coverage issues without success. Comm Professionals did a site survey and identified a cost effective solution. Upon successful deployment of the solution the customer was elated that critical communications had finally been achieved.

Wireless design
Design and procure a new 802.11ax Wireless LAN for installation by 3rd party contractor. Design is to provide full speed wireless to targeted devices on a 7 acre campus, indoor and outdoor coverage.

Interference Detection
Problem: Locate and stop source of interference to a base station receiver used in a secure location.
Resolution: Antenna was installed within the near field of another antenna in the same band. We installed a narrow pass filter on the RX of the receiver.

Solve Mobile installation poor DAQ
Problem: Customers DAQ on a fleet of VHF mobile radio installations had been poor. Find and eliminate the source of the degraded DAQ.
Resolution: The source of the noise was found to be a device transmitting spurious emissions, installed by the end user after the mobile radio installation.

Consult on RF design
Problem: Customer needed phone consultation on RF design of a simplex 2 channel repeater design.
Resolution: The customer needed filters on the receive due to close channel spacing and poor receiver selectivity.

Wireless Heatmap Construction
Problem: Customer required a Wireless survey of facility to verify new wireless deployment.
Resolution: Customer was pleased with the results. We were able to provide detailed maps with RSSI, Signal to Noise, Signal to Interference, Expected PHY Rate, and Channel Map.
